Since opening our doors in 1922, the Tabard Inn has been the longest continuously operating hotel and restaurant in Washington, D.C.
Located in Dupont Circle, we have proudly played a crucial role in many moments of the District’s history. As part of our commitment to providing outstanding hospitality, we’re excited to announce a new chapter for the Tabard Inn by welcoming our Culinary Partner, Chef Ian Boden. Boden is a James Beard Foundation Award semi-finalist and the chef/owner of The Shack in Staunton, VA. During the summer months, Boden has been quietly working behind the scenes at the inn, training the team, researching the history of the hotel, and updating the menus, all of which are now available to the public. We’re also working on a new website (coming soon), and we’re still open for room reservations, event bookings, and dining reservations.
